Crafting a Getaway!

February, the shortest month, begs for an adventure! The days, while getting a bit longer, are still short and it’s chilly out there… Time to shake things up and celebrate with friends, family or a sweetheart. And nothing is more charming than visiting the Seacoast, especially when you can stay in the midst of all of the fun. Come for a weekend and warm yourself up with libations of all kinds in between and after a shopping spree in Portsmouth’s unique shops.

First, book your stay at The Sailmaker’s House. Our modern boutique hotel is in a charming, historic setting, and offers unparalleled comfort. The living room is stocked with games and books and there are snacks, tea and coffee for you 24/7. And mostly everything on our list is within walking distance.

If you are interested in sampling a variety of beers, Portsmouth is the right place!

Liar’s Bench: Housed in an old plumbing supply warehouse in Portsmouth’s up and coming West End, Liars Bench Beer Co. is an independently owned nano-brewery, tap room and biergarten. Sandwiches and snacks served as well.

Loaded Question: Enjoy a variety of beers in their beer garden and taproom. They also serve hard cider, hard seltzer, kombucha and wine as well as NA Beer, seltzer and snacks.
